| | A community project to inspire healthy living and organized by Ang Mo Kio Youth Executive Committee, a voluntary group under the umbrella of the People's Association based at Ang Mo Kio Community Centre. This event showcased the danger of Obesity & TCM in Weight Management. See Hoy Chan sponsored a total of 200 packets of 1kg of Heavenly Thai Fragrant Brown Rice.

| | See Hoy Chan participated in Singapore Food Manufacturer Association's [SFMA] Singapore Food Expo. Heavenly rice was again sold by the kilogram, putting a modern touch to the days when rice was sold by the 'kati'. This year, See Hoy Chan's Heavenly Brown Rice was a key feature in Shin Min Daily newspaper's Brown Rice Cooking Competition, the finals of which were held at the Singapore Expo on evening of 25 May. The 6 finalists had to prepare their brown rice dishes on-stage and were judged by a panel of esteemed judges. The 1st prize was $500 cash and 3 months free Heavenly Rice and a Philips Artificial Intelligence rice cooker. All finalists walked away as winners with a pack of Heavenly Rice.

| | A series of rice challenges held 'on-air' by the morning show DJs once a month for 3 months, netted 3 winners who walked away with 1 years' free supply of Heavenly Rice, a total of 120kg of rice. Each month, DJs would devise a new rice challenge which they would pit 2 challengers against each other. Challengers had a great time strategizing and playing the game on air against each other.

| | The Health & You Expo provided an exciting platform to showcase the goodness of heavenly brown Rice. In fact all our Brown Rice brought to the expo was sold out by early evening on Sunday. Together with the Brown Rice, we started our environmental drive by switching to our brand new Heavenly recycle bags.

| | As part of Singapore Management University's [SMU] community outreach program, the undergraduates went to housing estates in Ang Mo Kio and Toa Payoh over two weekends, to seek donations of a cup of rice per household. In total, the students collected 1460 kg from the two housing estates, which See Hoy Chan matched kilo for kilo. The collected rice was repacked into 5kg bags and distributed amongst the needy at Care Corner and Asian Women's Welfare Association [AWWA].
